Jesi Stracham

On January 20th, Jesi Stracham became the second person to receive the InVivo Therapeutic’s Neuro-Spinal Scaffold (See video below) after the motorcycle she was riding was hit by a car and left her paralyzed from the waist down. She sustained life threatening injuries and at times doctors were not sure she would make it. She has proven to be a fighter. Against all odds and with the assistance of this new technology, Jesi is determined to walk again. She has already show remarkable progress in a short time. Despite her injuries which have left her paralyzed from the waist down, Jesi’s attitude is both positive and inspirational. Words cannot capture her courage and optimism.

Jesi has been fortunate enough to return to her passion of racing this past spring at the GNCC Off Road Racing, aboard a custom-built Polaris ACE 570.  She has a couple more races coming up in the fall of 2015.

Physical therapy is extremely important to her recovery. She has learned through Jordan (patient #1 and her current boyfreind) that the more you work (PT) the sooner you may see results. Jesi’s efforts in physical therapy and the time allowing her to participate so frequently, is credited to her friends, family, and the many investor’s and shareholders of this company conducting these clinical trials, who have contributed so generously.  Many of these people donating regularly.  With out them, Jesi would not be able to really focus on her recovery.  She will be forever grateful to all who have helped her, not only monetarily, but also with all the good wishes and encouragement she has received.  If you wish to make a donation to her gofundme, please visit:
